CEREC by Sirona offers our patients the option to have crowns fabricated in our office in just one dental visit.

Through the utilization of the CEREC Bluecam/Omnicam 3D digital camera, we are able to take a digital scan of your tooth, eliminating the need for traditional impressions thus increasing patient comfort. After our digital scan is completed, we design your new crown and mill it out of porcelain with our CEREC AC units.

Patients can watch as their new crown is designed on a computer and milled in our lab.

Reasons for treatment

When a tooth has suffered extensive damage due to tooth decay, fracture, or endodontic therapy, a crown is the strongest long-term choice for tooth restoration.

A dental veneer is a porcelain tooth colored facing that is bonded to the front surface of a tooth.

There is minimal tooth reduction for veneer preps, when compared to a crown. Veneers require two visits. The first visit is the preparation of the tooth or teeth to allow for adequate space for porcelain. When preparation is complete, we take an impression, select the shade or color, and send the impression to a dental laboratory for fabrication. Once the veneers return from the lab, chemical bonding of the veneer to the prepared tooth occurs, leaving the patient with a brand new and beautiful smile.

Reasons for treatment

In order to correct tooth discoloration, spaces between teeth, or crooked teeth, dental veneers are a fantastic treatment option.

Invisalign is the clear way to straighten teeth without dental braces, using Aligners. Aligners are made of clear, thin medical-grade polymer that is virtually invisible when worn.

Teeth Whitening is for patients who desire a brighter smile.

Though not a permanent solution, teeth whitening is very effective with results that can last for years. Depending on your personal habits, touch-up kits can be used every 6–12 months to enhance and maintain whitening results. Degree of brightness and shade change will vary patient to patient.

People typically have their teeth whitened to improve their appearance. When people have a brighter smile, they tend to smile more often and their confidence shines through.

Reasons for treatment

Bleaching, or teeth whitening, corrects discoloration of the teeth by removing the brown and yellow staining.
